Internet has gone crazy about a statue of a baby Jesus Christ resembles Mark Zuckerberg

The Internet has gone crazy about a statue of a baby Jesus Christ from a museum in the United States. The sculpture of Mother Mary cradling infant Jesus in her arms is depicted in the image. The infant Jesus in the picture resembles Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, which is why the image gained widespread attention on social media.

The sculpture, which is a part of a collection at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, was shared by Twitter user Arix. “This baby Jesus sculpture at the LA Museum of Art looks like Mark Zuckerberg,” the user captioned the image. Twitter users quickly created memes in response to the message.

The most unexpected response came from Jack Dorsey, the former CEO of Twitter, who reshared the image and added the hashtag “Meta” to nod to Facebook’s new name. The main goal of Meta is to create a virtual reality for its users called the “Metaverse.”

The sculpture, known as The Virgin of Mercy or “Pilgrim of Quito,” is believed to have performed miracles and is highly revered in Ecuador. It is thought to have been created in the early 18th century.
