Does LinkedIn also has a spam bot problem like twitter?

LinkedIn and Twitter are two social media giants that everyone wants to have an account on. Recently a new problem was discovered related to Spam bot accounts. This was first brought to notice by Elon Musk after the Twitter deal of $44 billion USD fall apart.

According to Elon Musk, Twitter lied about the percentage of their bot accounts functioning on their platform. Also, another report came out that a security expert at Twitter also lied about the amount of fake or bot accounts on Twitter.

While some say it is just a bot account and why there is so much hype about it. There is another aspect of it that adversely affects the valuation of a company. Because the more bot accounts you have on your platform the more chances of revenue loss will be there. Which would mean that an advertiser will think twice before marketing on a platform where there are no real people but bit accounts.

Now Linkedin is also under the radar as spam bot accounts appear to be on their platform also. We also faced the same issue with the spam bot accounts.

Here is the screenshot of the spam account:

We also tried to contact LinkedIn but didn’t receive any input at the time of preparing the article.
