A new google search phishing page discovered, find out here

Phishing for all those who are not tech savvy is a term that means to fish someone for a scam. A phishing scam leads a person to a webpage misleading him to think he is on the actual website.

Today we have discovered one such website that has a complete look and feel of a google search page. The said website can be accessed from this URL http://www.enochsgardens.com/ and with this IP address http://45.136.131.72/.

After checking the WHO Is info of this website we found out that the domain was registered via Godaddy. The server on which it is hosted also belongs to Godaddy. The domain was registered on the 1st of September 2019 and was renewed in 2022.

In recent times phishing attacks have increased tremendously and have caused thousands of dollars to be taken away from users.

How do identify if you are on the right website or not, here are some of the few steps that you can do:

      1. Check the URL in the address bar to see if you are on the right website

  1. Do not enter any of your personal details on such a page as it may directly go to the hacker himself.
  2. You can even check who the domain belongs to by going to https://who.is/.
  3. Always make sure that you do not click on any links sent to your email asking you to verify details.
