Red Magic has announced the OS 8.0 update for Red Magic 8 Pro users. As per the announcement, the system will be upgraded from Red Magic OS 6.0 to 8.0. The upgrade can be identified by the version NX729)_ZO.CN_ZML1T_V238). Several new features have been added and optimized.
It is advised to back up all the data before downloading the update and the device may heat up during the download of the update. It is recommended that you let the phone cool down before playing games otherwise it may affect the gaming experience.
If we talk about the newly added features and functions it includes a new game record function, player power panel plug-in, streamer desktop function, spotlight application set, floating light notification set, lock screen setting, and personalized signature function. New features like desktop multiple page turning effects, new desktop drawer mode, new desktop component and desktop icons, a new personalized signature component, new sports billboard component will also be seen.
Smart quick network finding function, smart high-speed rail mode, smart antenna capabilities, system setting, and new support for customizing desktop icon shapes and system colors within personalization, application hiding function, and dialing with two fingers to call will accompany the upgrade.
As far as optimization is concerned this upgrade optimizes the game plug-in display experience for individual game settings, barrage message experiences, and charging separation settings.
The Red Devils equipment library has also been upgraded.
Red Magic 8 Pro was launched in Q4 2022. This smartphone comes with a 6.8 inch wide 120 Hz AMOLED display with 1116×2480 resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 512 GB of internal storage. It comes with a triple camera setup featuring a 50 MP main camera.
