OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta testing starts for OnePlus Nord 3 in India from today; Check the eligibility criteria and application guide

The Chinese smartphone company, OnePlus has recently started it’s OxygenOS 14 CBT testing. This program has been started so that the company can receive the feedback from the selected users about this beta version and make the necessary changes in order to release a stable version to all it’s users. Previously OxygenOS 14 CBT program was commenced for OnePlus 11 users in India.

And now the brand has started the OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta testing for the users of OnePlus Nord 3 in India. If you own this smartphone and it runs on Indian OxygenOS version then here’s your chance to try out this latest beta version. The company has also informed the users to save all the data on their device all the time as the clean flash might cause data loss. Also the users participating are advised to be patient and tolerate the instability of this version as it is still in development. Some of the known issues mentioned are-

  • Charging icon doesn’t show two decimal places on the lock screen with super flash charger
  • Probable ringing of the phone in case of no incoming call
  • Probable black screen when swiping left or right at the bottom of the screen to switch between recent apps
  • Long screenshot displays abnormally on Weather warning page
  • Probable mis-ordering of album photos
  • After taking a photo and clicking the bottom in the left corner to enter the album, this photo can’t be deleted normally
  • Google Contacts fails to delete multiple contacts
  • Camera may fail to recognize QR code
  • Screen flashes during auto screen-off
  • Probable issue of splash screen when switching tasks through multitasking backend with playing video in the background

For this program 500 users will be invited who meet the following requirements with a OnePlus Nord 3 Indian device;

  • You are using a OnePlus Nord 3 Indian variant
  • You are an active OnePlus community member
  • You are willing to regularly communicate and report issues/suggestions to the OnePlus team via the Feedback app
  • You are willing to join the CBT telegram group to communicate with the OnePlus team and other users actively and friendly
  • For confidentiality participants are not allowed to secretly share the CBT installation package or any content related to internal beta with people outside the project team.

How to apply for OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta testing for OnePlus Nord 3?

  • Time of Application: From Aug.21st (you must submit your application during this time, or the application channel will be closed)
  • Quota: 500 users
  • Confirm your phone has been updated to the detectable version:  CPH2491_13.1.0.561(EX01)
  • Go to Settings > About device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Follow the steps to apply
  • When to receive version: we will review your application in 5 workdays after the application channel is closed. If your pass the review, you will receive the version in 3 workdays.
  • How to download the version after application passed: Settings > About device > Download Now.
  • If your application is verified, you receive a Telegram group invitation by message. So please fill in your phone no. carefully for us to contact you while applying.
