Last month the Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has officially released it’s latest custom skin based on Android 14- ColorOS 14 stable version and the first device to receive this stable version was the Oppo Find N2 Flip. The company has also released its ColorOS 14 upgrade adaptation plan for the Oppo devices available in China while the ColorOS 14 rollout timeline for the global markets was also officially released by the company.

This latest ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 OS arrived with various new and improved features that are said to enhance users’ experience. Let’s take a look at these features.

ColorOS 14: Features

• Intuitive Aquamorphic Design- The aquamorphic design has been updated and improved. It arrives with new sound effects, color systems, interactions, and ten sets of anamorphic-themed ringtones (for calls, alarms, and notifications). The aquamorphic cooling system can be adjusted to the device’s status, time, and on-screen content. Aqua Dynamic design is also brand new while traditional modes of interactions like bubbles and panels can be expanded from the Status bar. AOD has also been improved and now features a new Go Green AOD.
• AI-Powered- It includes an AI-powered feature, Smart Touch that improves users’ daily chores. The new file dock allows users to share content across many apps. ColorOS 14 allows to separation of subjects from a single image or a frame from a paused video called Smart Image Matting which will seen first time. Users can alter the cutouts using the File Pocket, File Dock, or Split screen mode.
• An updated version of Trinity engine- It arrives with three crucial features: ROM Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, and CPU Vitalization. These options help in controlling computational resources, memory, and even storage.
• Picture keeper- This feature keeps programs from misusing permission to access users’ photographs and videos. With ColorOS 14, Bitmoji AOD showcase returns with two new features- Snapchat lock screen shortcut and Snapchat widget for shelf

These features of ColorOS 14 will also allow users to function more effectively and efficiently. The brand has also officially announced the ColorOS 14 Global Beta Version rollout timeline recently.
