Android One UI 5.0 update released for Samsung Galaxy Tab A8

Samsung has been continuously updating its devices with the latest Android 13 operating system. Now it has released its One UI 5.0 update for its Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 which is pre-installed with Android 11. This redesigned user interface makes the device quicker and smoother to work.

The update has been officially released for the Wi-Fi-only model in Europe and LTE variant in many other nations like Luxembourg, Romania, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, the UK, the Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Greece, Slovakia, France, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Baltic, and India.

In Europe, the Wi-Fi model received the One UI 5.0 with firmware version X200XXU1CVL5, while the LTE version received an update with firmware X205XXU1CVL6. According to sources, One UI 5.0 with firmware version X205XXU1CVL5 has been sent to the LTE model in India.

How to download and install the new update?

  • Once the update is available it will be directly downloaded and installed on your device.
  • You can even install the update manually if you want it to begin immediately by following these steps:
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on Software Update
  3. Click on Download and Install
  4. Install the new Software
