Razor Ramon AKA Scott Hall : A bad boy from WWE attitude era

Hall was a professional wrestler and actor from the United States. He died on March 14, 2022. Razor Ramon was best known for his tenures with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) and with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) as his real name.

Hall began his career in 1984 before signing with the WWF in May 1992 under the name Razor Ramon. He won the WWF Intercontinental Championship four times while working for the company. In May 1996, he left WWE and defected to WCW, where he became a founding member of the New World Order (NWO) faction, along with Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash.

The company made him a two-time WCW United States Heavyweight Champion, a one-time WCW World Television Champion, and a nine-time WCW World Tag Team Champion.
Following his departure from WCW in February 2000, he briefly worked for the WWF (later renamed WWE) in 2002. He spent the rest of his career wrestling for various promotions, such as Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he once held the TNA World Tag Team Championship with Kevin Nash and Eric Young.

While Hall was never a world champion in a major promotion, he was a one-time world champion, having held the WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship. As a singles competitor, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014, and again as a member of the nWo in 2020.

He is best known for his work with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) as Razor Ramon and with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) under his real name.

It was his outstanding reputation as one of the world’s best wrestlers that led to Hall’s championship reigns and accomplishments in his professional wrestling career.

He had multiple good to great matches – Hall and The 1-2-3 Kid vs. Shawn Michaels and Nash as Diesel in an early edition of WWF Action Zone, a match that literally had the entire Westchester County Center jumping up and down with excitement and his 1993 King of the Ring match against Bret Hart.

He fought Sting, Bill Goldberg, and many others on WCW PPVs. Hall was in the top percentage of all talent from his era when he was ON.
