Oppo Developer Conference (ODC) 2026 to be held on 17th September; ColorOS 17 will be officially released

Yesterday, the Chinese manufacturer Oppo announced that its Oppo Developer Conference will be held in Zhuhai on 17^th September.

During this conference, the company will be launching its all-new ColorOS 17 custom skin based on Android 17. The brand has also confirmed that ColorOS 17 will debut on the upcoming Oppo Find X10 series.

At this conference, industry partners, developers and users will experience six informative sub-forums: ColorOS Co-creation Planet, Oppo Smart Service ecosystem, Oppo Gaming Technology and Ecosystem, Oppo content ecosystem, Oppo business growth and Oppo sports health.

Reportedly, ColorOS 17 will arrive with visual changes such as new animation effects and design, improved system fluidity, faster app launches, and an increase in the number of background apps the system can run.

Oppo users might also hear details of the ColorOS 17 open beta programme at this conference, allowing eligible Oppo, OnePlus and Realme users to test the latest upgrade before its official release. The company could also share some information about the upcoming Oppo Find X10 series.
