Xiaomi is rumoured to release its HyperOS 4 upgrade in the coming months, though the launch announcement has not been made yet. Today, folks at MIUI ROM have shared the tentative launch timeline and eligible devices list for HyperOS 4.
Xiaomi HyperOS 4: Tentative launch timeline
Last year, Android 16 was released in June, and then Xiaomi released Android 16-based HyperOS 3 in September. Reports suggest that this year, Google will release Android 17 in June itself; it is therefore suggested that Xiaomi may release HyperOS 4 in September 2026.
Though this is for the Chinese market only. The global version of HyperOS is expected to arrive in November-December 2026, looking at the previous track record.
