Windows 11 Insider Preview Build ‘22635.4880’ Now Available: For Windows 11 Insiders (Version 23H2) in Beta Channel

A new Windows 11 Insider Preview Build ‘22635.4880’ has now been announced and made available for Windows 11 Insiders in beta channel running updates based on version 23H2. The new preview build comes with a few changes, improvements, and fixes.

Windows 11 Insider Preview Build ‘22635.4880’ Announced

This new Windows 11 Insider Preview Build ‘22635.4880’ for Windows 11 Insiders (version 23H2), on the general side, brings a small set of improvements and fixes in order to enhance the overall user experience of Insiders. It also fixes the issue which caused the Home page of Settings to crash. To add, these are only being gradually rolled out, and the toggle button to receive these will have to be turned on.

Moreover, there are two known issues in this preview build that Insiders must be aware about. When using the X button to close File Explorer, it may appear to be a little slow. On PCs signed-in with Microsoft accounts, two new enterprise specific device info and accessibility preferences cards are also showing.

Additionally, an update for Paint (with version ‘11.2412.271.0’ and higher) is also being rolled out for Windows Insiders both in the beta and release preview channels. With this latest update, the Copilot menu has been introduced on Paint, thereby enabling users to access intelligent features aiding them in tasks like image generation and faster editing. Features like Cocreator, Image Creator, Generative Erase, and Remove Background can all be used via the drop down menu on clicking the Copilot icon given inside the toolbar. However, the Cocreator feature will only be available on Copilot+ PCs.
