Vivo X300 Ultra’s Indian Variant Now Receiving Second Update Post Launch with May 2026 Security Patch Update

Today on the 19th of May 2026, Vivo brought out a new software update for its Vivo X300 Ultra smartphone in India. With this latest update, the brand has now added the May 2026 security patch along with some improvements and bug fixes as well. To note, this is the second update that the device is receiving post launch in India.

Notably, this latest update is arriving with the firmware version ‘PD2547F_EX_A_16.0.6.11.W30’, and the total downloadable size of the update is said to be 834MB. As per the posts shared online by users, a few optimisations and fixes have now been brought with this latest software build.

Coming to what is being added, apart from the May 2026 security patch, Vivo has optimised the power saving strategy to improve battery life. The brand has also optimised the performance of third-party games to enhance the gaming experience and optimised system stability and security too.

About the bug fixes, several issues have now been fixed with the latest update. This includes the issue where the system language change does not take effect on some app interfaces, the occasional issues where some apps are not displayed properly in small window mode in some scenarios, split-screen mode in some apps does not work properly, and the issue where the built-in input method does not work properly.

While some users have already posted the screen grab of the update page from their devices, others may not have received this update. For those users, there is no need to worry as the rollout is currently in progress and it may take some time to reach all users soon.

As a precaution, Vivo notes users to back up their device, and also mentions that the device may get warm during the update process and once it is done it will come back to its normal temperature.
