Vivo rolls back the June trial updates for the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro models after users raised concerns
Just a few days back, the Chinese manufacturer Vivo released June trial updates for the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro users in India. The users who installed these updates started reporting issues like battery drain, overheating and network issues.
A user named @YourbroRishabh on X advised Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro users to refrain from installing these updates. He shared that when he installed the first June trial update (23.1) and started witnessing issues with his device. When he later visited the service center, his phone was downgraded to 22.1, after which most of the issues were resolved, but battery life wasn’t restored.
He shared the story of another user who also faced issues with the 23.3 trial update, like worse heating, battery drain and network instability. Therefore, it was advised to wait for the stable update instead of installing the current trial updates.
Vivo rolled back the trial updates for X300 (base and pro) series.
And no stable update is available as well, it's great that they atleast acknowledged the unstable patch.
However, the device is still using the May security patch, such is old at this point. https://t.co/CCOBAWtZ1C pic.twitter.com/G9uGs1sbOG
