Tipster Reveals These Galaxy S Series Devices to Be Compatible With Upcoming One UI 9 Based on Android 17
Google had recently released the last Beta 4.1 update for its Android 17 operating system, and the stable version is expected to be released soon, most likely by the end of June or in July for its Pixel series devices. Following this, other smartphone brands will also be bringing their own Android 17-based custom skins, including Samsung, which is expected to release One UI 9 with the launch of its next Galaxy Z Flip 8/Fold 8 series devices.

Galaxy S Series – Eligible Devices for One UI 9 Update
While we wait for the official One UI 9 rollout from Samsung, a new detail shared by a tipster has now revealed the Galaxy S series devices that are said to be eligible for receiving the Android 17-based One UI 9 update.
In a post shared on X, tipster Tarun Vats has mentioned that the Galaxy S26 series, Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S24 series, including the Galaxy S24 FE, and Galaxy S23 series, including the Galaxy S23 FE, will be eligible for receiving the stable One UI 9 update.
To note, Samsung has not officially announced the One UI 9 eligible device list yet, and the details have only been shared by the tipster based on the update policy of these handsets. The stable rollout may possibly happen around October, as Samsung had also rolled out its previous major One UI update around a similar timeline last year.
