The South Korean tech giant Samsung has recently rolled out the April 2025 update for the Galaxy S25 series in Korea, and it was expected that more regions would receive the update soon. As expected, the update has now been rolled out for the series in India and Australia.
Galaxy S25 series: April 2025 update
The screenshots below are for the Galaxy S25 Ultra model (via @tarunvats33). The update arrives with firmware version S938BXXU2AYD9/ S938BOXM2AYD9/ S938BXXU2AYD9 in Australia and India. The size of the update is 762.27 MB.
The update includes a new charging animation that was already available to users testing One UI 7 Beta. It also adds support for Now Bar and Live Notification in the media player, making it easier for users to control music or videos right from the notification panel. The update also brings the April 2025 security patch to the devices in order to enhance the security of the devices. Meanwhile, the overall stability of functions is also improved.
How to download and install the update?
- Open Settings
- Go to Software update
- Click on the Download & Install option
