Samsung halts the One UI 8 rollout for Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 devices

Just a few weeks back, the South Korean tech giant Samsung started the official rollout of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S23 series, but reportedly, the brand has now paused the release of this latest update for the series.

It is revealed that apart from the Galaxy S23 series, the brand has halted the One UI 8 rollout for the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones. The devices that have already received the update can continue using it, but those who haven’t will now have to wait.

Last year, Samsung took a really long time in releasing the One UI 7 update to all the compatible devices. Also, just after a week of the One UI 7 release, the company halted the rollout due to a major bug issue, leaving fans disappointed. But the brand covered it up by releasing the One UI 8 update earlier than expected, though it now appears that the company is again struggling with the rollout. The reason for halting the One UI 8 update is not specified yet, but it is assumed that the company may have come across a bug issue in the One UI 8 update that needs to be fixed, which is why the release has been paused.

Currently, it is unclear when the One UI 8 update will be resumed.
