Samsung Galaxy S23 New One UI 7 Internal Test Build Uploaded on Server: Likely No Beta Program for S23 Series

The South Korean smartphone maker, Samsung, is currently conducting its One UI 7 beta program, whereas the official stable version is said to be introduced next month. Now, the Galaxy S23 new One UI 7 internal test build has been spotted on the server, however, unlike what was being said, the Galaxy S23 series is reportedly not going to get any beta updates or is not going to become eligible for the beta program.

Galaxy S23 – New One UI 7 Internal Test Build Uploaded on Server

As per the latest update received (via @tarunvats33), a new One UI 7 internal test build for Galaxy S23 has been uploaded on the brand’s official server. From ‘DXL6’, it has been changed to ‘DXLE’. The build versions spotted are ‘S918BXXU7DXLE’, ‘S918BOXM7DXLE’, and ‘S918BXXU7DXLE’.

Notably, this internal build version is the same as that of the Galaxy S24 beta build (‘ZXLE’), and this suggests that the beta program won’t be available to any Galaxy S23 series models as commented by the tipster who has shared the update. Moreover, he adds that the Galaxy S23 series models will likely directly get the One UI 7 stable version, possibly in the month of February or March 2025.

Galaxy S23 - One UI 7 Internal Test Build - X Update

Regarding the One UI 7 official stable version based on the Android 15 operating system, it is expected to be introduced with the Galaxy S25 series smartphones, at the first Galaxy Unpacked event of next year. To add, the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event is believed to be held on the 22nd of January 2025.
