Realme UI 7 May 2026 Update Now Rolling Out in China With New Lock Screen Island, Live Collage, AI Menu Translation, and More

In monthly updates, Realme along with several other brands do release new features and other bug fixes, and now for the month of May, the Realme UI 7 update has been released in the Chinese market.

Realme UI 7 – May 2026 Update Rollout

As stated above, this update is meant for users in the China region and is based on the Android 16 operating system. Speaking about what is new in this update, Realme has added several new features related to travel planning, lock screen experience, AI tools, and Xiaobu Suggestions.

Starting with the pre-trip planning features, the Realme UI 7 May 2026 update now brings AI one-tap quick note and travel collection support. With this, users will be able to customise an exclusive itinerary based on memory, while the travel map will show directions and distances clearly at a glance. The update also adds one-tap navigation support for attractions and restaurants, making guide and itinerary arrangement easier.

Speaking more about the features that will be useful during travel, Realme has also added an all-new Lock Screen Island. It will keep the travel progress organised and show key information directly on the lock screen. Users will also be able to view navigation routes in full-screen without unlocking the device, while music lyrics can also be viewed directly on the lock screen.

The Live Collage feature has also received another upgrade with this new update. Realme says that it will help users bring more creativity while sharing their moments. Apart from this, the update also adds AI menu translation, which will help users while ordering food abroad by showing images, prices, and clear details.

Xiaobu Suggestions have also been improved with a smart arrival reminder feature. With this, users will be able to receive subway arrival reminders, so that they do not miss their stop while using the phone. However, the company has mentioned that cities are being adapted gradually.

Furthermore, the new-generation Realme UI 7.0 May update also brings more additions such as desktop layout organisation, an all-new AI briefing, a new graduation season watermark, and Xiaobu Suggestions rain reminder.
