As mentioned, this update is only for the users in China, and is currently available to the GT Neo 3 and GT Neo 3 150W smartphone models. A total of 1,000 candidates will be selected for the program, each for the two devices.

It should however be kept in mind that the update is not stable enough and might have certain issues in it. One of the known issues is the lagging caused when the game load is high.

Some of the changelogs of the update include improvements in system stability, application start speed, and animation smoothness; updated user interface; new themed ringtones and sound effects; optimization in text recognition and support for handwritten text recognition, optimization in mobile data transferring; better photo and video permission management system; and support for displaying and inputting rare characters.

The GT Neo 3 smartphone will be updated with firmware version of RMX3560_13.1.0.330(CN01) or RMX3560_13.1.0.320(CN01), whereas the update for the GT Neo 3 150W device will have firmware version of RMX3562_13.1.0.330(CN01) or RMX3562_13.1.0.320(CN01). Users must also assure that there is at least 15GB of storage left and a battery charge of 60% or more on the device before updating.

For those users who wish to roll back to the previous stable version, will be able to download the roll back package from Realme’s server, using which they’ll be able to locally install it. Users must also not forget to backup their device before the process.

To add, the early access version for the Realme GT Neo 5 SE device will also be rolled out this week, in between 30th October and 5th November, and the brand has confirmed it.
