Realme has officially revealed the Realme UI 7 rollout plan for China, with the Realme GT 8 series(launching today in China) confirmed as the first smartphone to launch with the Realme UI 7 based on Android 16. Now, Indian users have reason to be excited as Realme has announced the first phase of the Realme UI 7 Open Beta rollout based on Android 16 for the Indian market.
According to a post shared on Realme’s community page, the Realme GT 7 Pro will be the first device to receive the Realme UI 7 Open Beta update. While the roadmap has been released, Realme has not yet confirmed when the stable version will roll out. The company also hasn’t specified the number of applications it will accept for the beta, but it has mentioned that all listed smartphones will receive the update during Q4 2025, likely between November and December.
Realme also confirmed that additional devices will be added later, as this rollout represents only the first phase of the beta programme.
Those who want to apply for the Realme UI 7 Open Beta can do so by navigating to Settings > Software Update, tapping the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, selecting “Trial Version” or “Beta Program”, and submitting their application. However, since it’s an open beta, it’s advisable not to use your primary smartphone for testing, as beta updates can be unstable and may cause performance or compatibility issues.
