OxygenOS 13.F48 update officially rolled out for OnePlus Nord 2 in India, includes October 2023 Android security patch

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 14 Beta updates to some of its devices recently, and apart from that the brand is also rolling out the monthly security updates for its smartphones.

As officially announced by the company, OxygenOS 13.F48 update is being rolled out for the OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone with firmware version- DN2101_11.F.48.

This update integrates the October 2023 Android security patch to enhance system security. This OTA will be incremental and will be reaching a small percentage of users today. While the broader rollout is said to be rolled out in a few days. The users may be notified once the update is available on the device or they’ll be able to check for its availability on “System Updates” in “Settings”.

If by chance users come across any sort of bugs or issues, it is advised that they address it in their feedback. Feedback can be submitted on the pop-up menu that appears after dialing “*#800#”, or can be submitted on the feedback form given on the update page. They may also directly submit it as comments on the update thread.
