OPPO’s ColorOS 14 Based on Android 14 Arriving in November: Officially Confirmed
Google has released its latest Android 14 operating system stable version, and the update is already being rolled out to the brand’s Pixel devices. Other smartphone makers like OnePlus and Vivo has also unveiled their custom UIs based on the Android 14 operating system and following this, one of the other leading Chinese smartphone maker, OPPO, has confirmed the launch date for its ColorOS 14 custom skin, which will obviously be based on the latest Android operating system.

ColorOS 14 – Launching on November 16th
OPPO has now officially confirmed that the brand will be unveiling its ColorOS 14 custom skin at the developer conference event scheduled to take place at the Shanghai World Expo Center in China on the 16th of November 2023, next month.
The brand hasn’t revealed anything in particular about the custom user interface or its features, but with the previous updates regarding its beta versions, some of the features have already been revealed.
ColorOS 14 – Features
OPPO’s ColorOS 14 beta public testing had started for devices like the flagship Find X6, Find X6 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro, as well as for OnePlus’ flagship 11 smartphone, and some of the features that were revealed with the beta version include the file transfer stations, lossless compressions & merges, flashback windows, and free windows.
Some of the features of the ColorOS 14 smart sidebar were also tipped, as per which, the new version of the custom skin will support features that will help in displaying recent files or recently opened applications on the sidebar.
The custom UI has also been tipped to support a customizable individual app refresh rate feature with which, users will be able to set the refresh rate for apps individually as per required.
