Oppo to offer ColorOS 13 Beta Version testing for F21 Pro 5G

From 6th December 2022, Oppo starts its Android 13-based ColorOS 13 updates beta version in India.

The beta version would be only available for 5000 F21s Pro 5G users. An application is required to be submitted for getting the update.

This update is said to be more stable than the previously launched alpha version. The company has also fixed the bug and issues that were faced in the alpha version.

The flagship warned the users about the data loss due to the update and asked them to take a backup of it. Along with this, they warned about the device heating, lagging, and quick battery draining due to the smartphone optimization after the update which could take a few days to function back normally.

How to install the update:

  1. Confirm your phone has updated to ColorOS 12 Base Version
  2. Apply Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap the icon on the top right> Trial versions > Fill in your information > Apply Now

After your application is successful. You will receive the update within the next 5 working days. Then follow these steps

  1. Update About device > Download Now
The application are only available from 6th December 2022 to 13th December 2022 in India.
