With the announcement of new ColorOS closed beta programmes for the OPPO Find X9 Pro, Reno15 Pro, and Reno15 Pro Mini, the path for the company’s upcoming ColorOS 17 operating system appears to have been cleared.

OPPO Announces New ColorOS Closed Beta Recruitment
According to the latest recruitment announcements posted on the OPPO Global Community, the OPPO Find X9 Pro, Reno15 Pro, and Reno15 Pro Mini are now eligible for the new ColorOS closed beta programme.
Although OPPO has not explicitly revealed the ColorOS version being tested through these programmes, they are likely related to the upcoming ColorOS 17 update based on Android 17.
OPPO Reno15 Pro and Reno15 Pro Mini – Closed Beta Details
The closed beta recruitment programme for the OPPO Reno15 Pro and Reno15 Pro Mini is available in India and Malaysia. The application window will remain open between the 6th and 7th of August 2026, following which the application channel will be closed.
OPPO will select 300 users for this closed beta programme. Before submitting an application, the eligible device must be running either of the following software versions for the programme to be detected:
- CPH2813_16.0.8.300(EX01)
- CPH2813_16.0.9.400(EX01)
OPPO Find X9 Pro – Closed Beta Details
The OPPO Find X9 Pro closed beta recruitment programme is available in India, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Its application window will also remain open between the 6th and 7th of August 2026, while the recruitment quota has been limited to 300 users.
Eligible Find X9 Pro users must update their devices to the following software version before applying:
- CPH2791_16.0.9.400(EX01)
How to Apply
Eligible users can open Settings, select About device, tap the top section of the page, and then select the button present in the upper-right corner. Following this, they must open Beta Program, fill in the required information, and tap Apply Now.
