OnePlus officially starts the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 program for OnePlus 9RT in India

OnePlus has today officially rolled out the stable version of OxygenOS 14 for its flagship OnePlus 11 device. Apart from this the company is continuing the beta testing for its other devices to soon release the stable version to the other OnePlus smartphones. The smartphone brand has today officially started the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 program for the OnePlus 9RT smartphone.

OnePlus 9RT- OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 program

The first Open Beta for OxygenOS 14 is here for the OnePlus 9RT smartphone. This open beta is applicable in the Indian region only. This is just the beta version of OxygenOS 14 therefore it might include some potential risks.

Few points users should keep in mind

  1. In order to upgrade to this build successfully, be sure that your device is in the latest OxygenOS 13.1 version.
  2. These instructions are only for the OnePlus 9RT. Please make sure the battery level is above 30% and a minimum of 4 GB of storage space is available.
  3. Carrier version devices (TMO/Verizon) aren’t compatible with the Open beta builds.

  • Adds Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and revamps the system notification sounds.  • Improves system animations by making them even smoother.

User Care

  • Adds a carbon tracking AOD that visualises the carbon emissions you avoid by walking instead of driving.

How to apply for the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 program?

  • Time of Application: From November 15 until a certain number of applications is reached (you must submit your application during this time, or the application channel will be closed)
  • Quota: 5000 users
  • Confirm your phone has been updated to the detectable version:


  • Go to Settings > About device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow the steps to apply
  • When to receive version: we will review your application within 5 workdays after the application channel is closed. If you pass the review, you will receive the version in the 3 workdays that follow.
  • How to download the version after application passed: Settings > About device > Download Now.

The users of OnePlus 9RT can also submit bugs if noticed on the pop up window by typing *#800# on the Google Dialer.
