The rollout announcement was made a few days back on August 12th 2026, and apart from the latest security patch, the update also brings improvements to the camera, app launch responsiveness and memory management.

OnePlus N6 August 2026 Update
According to the official announcement shared by OnePlus, the latest update for the OnePlus N6 is currently being rolled out in the Indian market with the firmware version CPH2955_16.0.5.1051(EX01).
Speaking of the changes, the update improves image quality while capturing photos in low-light conditions. Apart from this, OnePlus has also improved app launch responsiveness and memory management, which should help in offering a smoother experience during regular usage.
Lastly, the update integrates the August 2026 Android security patch, thereby improving the overall system security of the device.
