OnePlus begins OxygenOS 13 F.53 Update rollout for OnePlus Nord 2

OnePlus Nord 2 was launched in July 2021, and what’s fascinating is that OnePlus is still releasing security patch updates for this smartphone, even though official support was supposed to end in July. OnePlus has announced a new OxygenOS 13 F.53 update for Nord 2 users in India and the EU. While this update may eventually roll out to other regions, no official announcement has been made yet. It is not a feature-rich update but rather an Android security patch, with firmware versions IN: DN2101_11.F.53 and EU: DN2103_11.F.53.

Users haven’t reported any issues with this update so far, and as it is currently in the rollout phase, you can expect it to reach your Nord 2 within a week or two. Those who have already received the update can also submit any bugs via the official OnePlus community thread.

Here is the changelog of this update:

  • Integrates the September 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security.
