OnePlus Announces its OxygenOS V100P01 August 2025 Update With Private Safe and System Stability Improvements: Complete Roll-Out by 31st August 2025

The Chinese consumer electronics maker – OnePlus as part of its regular system upgrades has now announced the OxygenOS V100P01 August 2025 update. Its roll-out is currently live and will be completed by the end of this month.

OxygenOS V100P01 August 2025 Update – Now Rolling Out

As mentioned, the OxygenOS August 2025 update with version V100P01 has been released and it is currently being rolled out to eligible OnePlus devices. The update aims to deliver a more secure experience to OnePlus users, and it will bring certain enhancements as well. Speaking of the changelogs, with Private Safe, OnePlus users can now share images and videos; customize image or video album covers; sort and view images and videos by time; and also add files directly under the ‘Other files’ category. On the system side, stability improvements will also be brought.

Regarding the roll-out, it began on the 13th of August 2025 and will be completed by the 31st of August 2025. The eligible OnePlus devices include:

As always, OnePlus wants users to keep certain things in mind. Since the update is incremental, only a small percentage will reach everyone and with the broader roll-out, it will reach everyone. Some of the functions will depend on the device’s hardware and software specs. Following the download, users can immediately install the update by clicking on the pop-up menu that appears, and the device will restart automatically to install it. Also, OnePlus has advised its users to give their valuable feedback to further improve the user experience.
