OnePlus 13R gets a new OxygenOS 15.0.0.830 Update in India, Brings Game Camera, PC Remote Control, and June 2025 Security Patch

OnePlus has now released the new OxygenOS 15.0.0.830 update for the OnePlus 13R in the India region. The update introduces several new features and includes the June 2025 Android security patch. While the rollout is currently limited to India, other regions can also expect to receive it soon. The update has a total size of 924.32 MB and carries the build version number CPH2691_15.0.0.830(EX01).
Some users have reported issues with the update, particularly overheating during extended gaming sessions. The phone reportedly reaches temperatures of up to 44°C after 30 minutes of gaming at 60fps. Although the device is capable of running games at 120fps, thermal throttling is said to cause frame drops to 70–80fps due to performance limitations. On the other hand, some users claim that the heating issue has been resolved with this update.
Additionally, a few users have reported receiving 5.5G connectivity, while those on the Jio network are seeing “Jio 5GA” displayed. However, the official changelog makes no mention of this enhancement.
