OnePlus 13 Flagship Receives New OxygenOS 15.0.2 Build Update, Bringing Performance Improvements and Feature Additions

The Chinese smartphone maker – OnePlus has now rolled out a new OxygenOS update for its latest 13 flagship smartphone. This update will bring improvement to the device’s performance as well as offer a few added features.

OnePlus 13 – New OxygenOS 15.0.2 Build Update

This new OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 13 smartphone has the firmware version – ‘CPH2649_15.0.0.831 (EX01V60P01)’ and it will be integrating the latest June 2025 Android security patch onto the device. The update is available under the ‘Beta Update’ section and users can navigate to it from ‘Settings’ > ‘About’ > ‘Three Dots’ icon > ‘Beta Update’. Its total size is 930MB, and users are as always advised to backup their personal data and ensure the required battery charge and storage space within the device before updating.

About the performance improvements, after updating, OnePlus 13 users will find the Floating Windows working much more smoother and responsive, and in addition to this, more apps can now be kept active in the background. Color effects have been adjusted in app icons and navigation bar, and group notification appearance has been optimized.

Regarding the added features, the update brings AI Recompose on the Photos app (crop and enhance photos), Remote PC Control with OConnect app, Private Mode (to access files), System Colors option (under Wallpaper & Style), Game Camera (for live screenshots, screen recording) along with Flashback Recording (records last 30 seconds of gameplay), Mind Mapping on Documents app, Speaker Cleaner for shaking out water and dust, and Drag and Drop functionality for multi-tasking.

Thus in total, the update brings a lot for OnePlus 13 users, however since it is being rolled out via the ‘Beta Update’ section, users must be cautious as it may carry unknown issues and bugs within it.
