OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13s Now Receiving Major OxygenOS 16 Update with May 2026 Security Patch; Check Out What’s New
A major new software update for the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13s smartphones has now officially been announced by OnePlus. As per the details shared online, the OxygenOS 16.0.7.201 update is currently rolling out for the OnePlus 13 device, while the OxygenOS 16.0.7.200 update is being released for the OnePlus 13s smartphone as well.

OxygenOS 16.0.7.201 and 16.0.7.200 Updates Rolling Out for OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13s
Region-wise, the latest updates rolling out for both smartphones are currently meant only for the Indian market. The update carries the firmware version “CPH2649_16.0.7.201(EX01)” for the OnePlus 13 and “CPH2723_16.0.7.200(EX01)” for the OnePlus 13s device, respectively.
Apart from integrating the May 2026 Android security patch, the latest software update also introduces several new features and enhancements that include Trinity Engine, Flux Homescreen, Live Space, AI-powered Documents, AI-powered Photos, AI Translate, and the Luminous Rendering Engine. These newly-added features have also been explained further below in the article.
Since the rollout has only recently started, it may take around one to two weeks before all eligible users receive the update notification. While some users may have already received the update, others may still need to wait a little longer for it to arrive on their devices.
Additionally, although the exact download size of the update has not officially been mentioned yet, looking at the extensive changelog itself suggests that the update package could likely be around 1 GB in size.
Regarding issues or bugs associated with the latest update, there have not been any major user reports so far. However, this could also be because the rollout has only just begun.

Also to note, while the changelog remains mostly the same for both smartphones, the OnePlus 13 additionally receives support for Master Presets as well, which will allow users to save custom camera parameters as presets and also share them through watermarks.
