OnePlus 12, OnePlus Nord 4, and OnePlus Open Smartphones Now Getting New OxygenOS Update in India, With June 2025 Android Security Patch

New OxygenOS updates for OnePlus 12, OnePlus Nord 4, and OnePlus Open smartphone models are now being rolled out in the Indian region. The latest June 2025 Android security patch is also being offered with these new OxygenOS updates.

OnePlus 12 – CPH2573_15.0.0.831(EX01) Update
For the OnePlus 12 flagship smartphone, the update with firmware version – ‘CPH2573_15.0.0.831(EX01)’ is being rolled out, and it will bring certain feature additions, improvements, and optimizations onto the device. On the gaming side, a Game Camera with Live screenshots and Flashback option has been introduced, while Windows PC remote control support and improved cellular network algorithm are communication & interconnection related changelogs. A Speaker cleaner feature and the Drag & drop functionality are also added with the update.
Regarding the system related changelogs, fuzzy searches in Settings, app name searching in Settings, improved floating bar responsiveness, improved animation in Quick Settings and Notification drawer, seamless app opening from quick functions while device is locked, notification summary with number of unread notifications and sources, and optimized search display order in Settings are there with the update. Most importantly, this month’s June 2025 Android security patch will be integrated onto the device with the update.
OnePlus Nord 4 – CPH2661_15.0.0.1001(EX01) Update
The OxygenOS update with firmware version – ‘CPH2661_15.0.0.1001(EX01)’ has been rolled out for OnePlus’ Nord 4 model, and it also integrates the June 2025 Android security patch as mentioned above. Other changelogs are the Mac compatibility, partial screen recording, enhanced gesture recognition for closing floating windows, improved fingerprint unlock responsiveness, and reduced battery power consumption.
OnePlus Open – CPH2551_15.0.0.830(EX01) Update
The brand for its first and only foldable device – the OnePlus Open has made the OxygenOS – ‘CPH2551_15.0.0.830(EX01)’ update available. Added Windows PC remote control support, improved cellular network algorithm, added Speaker cleaner, and added Drag & drop feature are also part of its changelogs as well.
On the system side, similar changelogs such as fuzzy search in Settings, app name searching in Settings, improved floating bar responsiveness, improved animations for Quick Settings and Notification drawer, app opening via quick functions while device is locked, stacked notification summary with unread notifications and sources, and optimized search display order are offered for the device. On top of all these, the June 2025 Android security patch will also be brought along with these features and optimizations.
These updates as always are incremental in nature and will only be rolled out in a phase-wise manner. A few users of the mentioned devices might have already received the new updates and for others, a broader rollout is planned in the coming few days. Also, for reporting bugs and issues, Indian users can either submit the feedback via the ‘Bug Report’ section in the OnePlus Community app or dial ‘*#800#’ and submit it on the pop-up screen that appears.
