While OPPO and OnePlus are yet to officially announce the rollout of their August SOTA updates, some users have already started sharing screenshots of the updates received on the OnePlus 12 and OPPO Find X9 Pro smartphones.

OnePlus 12 – August SOTA Update
As per a screenshot shared by a OnePlus 12 user online, the smartphone has started receiving a new update carrying the software version ‘CPH2573_16.0.9.400(EX01B100P01)’ with a downloadable size of 537.86MB.
The changelog in the screengrab shows that this SOTA update will allow OnePlus 12 users to customise the frequently used tools displayed on the Phone Manager home screen for easier access. Further, the Storage cleanup page has also been improved, which can be accessed through Phone Manager > Storage cleanup.
Apart from these changes, the update is also revealed to improve the overall system stability of the smartphone.
OPPO Find X9 Pro – August SOTA Update
Coming to the OPPO Find X9 Pro, a user has reported receiving the software version ‘CPH2791_16.0.9.400(EX01B100P01)’, carrying a downloadable size of 574.17MB.
The update adds a new feature to the Notes application, allowing users to draw directly on images to highlight important points. Similar to the OnePlus 12 update, it also lets users customise the frequently used tools appearing on the Phone Manager home screen, and the Storage cleanup page has been reorganised into categories for easier navigation, which can be accessed via the same Phone Manager > Storage cleanup. Lastly, the system stability has also been improved as per the changelog.
While the two updates offer largely similar Phone Manager improvements, the OPPO Find X9 Pro additionally receives the ability to draw on images within the Notes application, which is not mentioned in the OnePlus 12 update changelog.
Neither OPPO nor OnePlus has published a formal community announcement regarding these updates at the time of writing. However, both brands generally begin seeding updates to users before sharing their official rollout announcements, suggesting that more details could probably be revealed soon.
