Today, Nothing has officially released the Nothing OS 4.1 August 2026 update for its Nothing Phone (4a) smartphone.

The update includes general improvements and bug fixes:
- Essential Voice can now be triggered via the Ear (3) Super Mic while using the keyboard
- Enhanced overall camera stability
- Enhanced overall system stability
- Updated to the August 2026 security patch
To install the latest update, open Settings, tap System, select System updates, and then tap Download and Install.
Do note that Firmware rollouts are usually staggered, meaning not all users will receive the update simultaneously. The update highlights Nothing’s ongoing focus on software refinements and hardware-software integration for its users.
In related news, starting this month, Nothing has increased the price of all the variants of the Nothing Phone (4a) by INR 3,000 in India. The price starts at INR 42,999 and reaches up to INR 49,999.
