The recently released MIUI 14 update based on Android 13 has started to release its stable version for Xiaomi 12S series in China. The series consists of Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro, and Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
The update includes certain delights that are special to Xiaomi as well as the new improvements Google brought with Android 13.
The update size of 5.7GB and is being released with firmware version 14.0.2.0.TLACNXM. A staggered rollout of the update is probably taking place, and it will eventually reach every device
Additionally, the firmware brings about a number of cosmetic modifications.
- New customizable folders with large icons
- New widget options with various shapes and sizes.
- Automatic compression for less-used apps
- A toggle to turn off permanent notifications
- Home screen pets.
As usual, the update is probably being sent in stages, and it should eventually reach every device. Of course, the Xiaomi 12S series isn’t accessible outside of China, thus the update is only being released there.
The MINU 14 is not been released in the global market till now and it’s expected to arrive in the international market in early 2023.
