iOS 26 Beta 2 Version of Apple Brings New ‘Share Device Identifiers’ Option

Two weeks after rolling out the Beta 1 version, Apple has now rolled out its next iOS 26 Beta 2 version for developers. This latest version which consists of added features and bug fixes, notably has also brought a new ‘Share Device Identifiers’ option too.

iOS 26 Beta 2 Version – New ‘Share Device Identifiers’ Option
As per what has been revealed, the latest iOS 26 Beta 2 version has introduced a new ‘Share Device Identifiers’ option, enabling its users to easily share details such as IMEI or EID numbers. These can either be shared as barcodes or users can share them by holding their device near a reader. To access this new option, open ‘Settings’ and navigate to the ‘General’ menu. There click on ‘About’ and then press and hold the IMEI or EID number. The ‘Share Device Identifiers’ menu will pop up, with ‘Copy’, ‘Barcode’, and ‘Share Device Identifiers’ options.
Speaking more, apart from this above-mentioned feature, the iOS 26 Beta 2 version also brings features like a new Reflection ringtone, Live Radio widget for Apple Music, new Files app icon, and automatic format option in Notes. Improvements like more blurred background for the Control Center for better visibility, rearranged More (three-dot) button on Safari for easy clicking, Liquid Glass Design adoption for keyboard globe icon and Spotlight search bar, and Liquid Glass Design effect for Live activities on the Clock app. Additionally, ChatGPT limit advanced capability has also been added with two categories – for text generation and text based or other types of requests. Also, the bug fixes have made the operating system more stable and smoother, and has also addressed the issues that were present in the previous Beta 1 version of iOS 26.
