Infinix to release XOS 15 x Android 15 updates for Infinix Note 40 series gradually from Q2, 2025

Infinix has today officially confirmed that the company will begin the rollout of XOS 15 based on Android 15 for its Infinix Note 40 series gradually from Q2, 2025.

The supported models include- Note 40 Pro+ 5G, Note 40 Pro 5G, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 5G, Note 40, and Note 40S. Since Q2 has already started, it is expected that the devices may receive the upgrade soon, while the company has revealed that the specific upgrade time for each model will be announced later.

XOS 15, based on Android 15, arrives with a refreshed UI and delivers fluid animations and extensive customization options. There are special tools like Game mode, Dynamic Bar, Smart Panel, and PC Connection. It offers a range of AI features- AI notes, AI Wallpaper generator, Writing assistant, AIGC Portrait mode, Circle to search, Folax, AI-powered assistant, and Call assistant.

Infinix Note 50x 5G+, which made its debut last month in India, was the first device to run on XOS 15, while Infinix Note 50s 5G+ that is scheduled to launch in the country on 18^th April, is also said to arrive pre-installed with this latest custom skin based on Android 15.
