Honor officially unveils MagicOS 11 with Liquid Glass Design; Limited early access recruitment for MagicOS 11 Pioneer edition started in China
After much anticipation, Honor has finally introduced its MagicOS 11 iteration based on Android 17. While the early recruitment for MagicOS 11 Pioneer edition has also started in the Chinese market.
Honor MagicOS 11
This custom skin features Android’s first Liquid Glass design. Through a brand-new flowing light and transparent design, the company has infused real light into every interaction. MagicOS 11 is said to simultaneously support live wallpapers, liquid glass, and HDR effects. There is full-screen liquid glass with a transparent glass effect on the lock screen, icons, and wallpapers; a unique flowing liquid effect for smooth live wallpaper and various animation settings for the bottom tabs, media cards, dynamic capsules and incoming call interface.
The company has started limited co-creation recruitment for MagicOS 11 Pioneer Edition. The eligible devices include:
- Honor Magic 8
- Honor Magic 8 Pro
- Honor Magic 8 Pro Air
- Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design
The recruitment time is June 16-18, and the version required for applying for early access in 10.0.0.160. To apply:
- Open My Glory App
- Go to Clubs
- Go to MagicOS Selection
- Click on MagicOS 11 Liquid Glass Early Access Recruitment
- Register according to the prompts
