Honor has announced the rollout of the May 2026 update, bringing a host of new features for several of its devices. Talking about the rollout, this update is currently for the China region and is being rolled out in phases to HONOR Magic V6, HONOR Magic V5, HONOR Magic8 Series, HONOR Magic7 Series, HONOR WIN Series, HONOR 500 Series, and HONOR 400 Series devices.

MagicOS 10 May 2026 Update Changelog

Via this latest update, Honor has added several features to its AI assistant YOYO, which includes custom subscription reminders using commands like “Subscribe me to XX information at XX time”, allergy alerts for allergens such as pollen and dust mites, and birthday reminders. Additionally,  Honor Wallet now also adds AI bookkeeping support, which can record your expenses automatically once you have made a payment.

Transparent mode is now supported with dynamic wallpapers, and the system can name folders automatically based on app categories for easier organisation. With the redesigned icons, Honor states that the battery icon charging and power-saving indicators are now easier to identify. Improved exit animations for volume control panels, better responsiveness and smoother animations, tapping on folders while swiping across the desktop, and navigating through the WLAN and Bluetooth sub-menus within the Control Center are also included in this update to improve the UI experience.

Other highlights include AirPods support, NFC-based screen casting with Great Wall WEY VV9X vehicle systems, and one-tap sharing between HONOR devices in Honor Video.

HONOR AI & YOYO

New

• YOYO now includes an AI intelligence assistant feature that supports custom subscription reminders. Users can simply say commands like “Subscribe me to XX information at XX time” to receive timely updates through YOYO suggestions and notification centre for faster access to information.
• YOYO Suggestions now adds allergy alerts for allergens such as pollen and dust mites. When allergen levels at your current location reach a level that may easily trigger symptoms, the system will send reminders.

• Added AirPods support. Once paired, the phone can quickly detect and connect to AirPods, while the Device Interconnection Centre can display battery status, earbud search, and noise control settings.
