Google Announces June 2026 Pixel Update Rollout Along With Pixel Drop: Screen Reactions, Call Screen in India, Gemini Omni Video Editing, and Bug Fixes Revealed
Google via its announcement page has now confirmed the roll out of the June 2026 security patch update for several of its Pixel series smartphones. Not just the security patch, the update also brings several bug fixes, and along with the latest Pixel Drop, many new features have also been added.

Google Pixel June 2026 Security Patch Update and Pixel Drop – Officially Rolling Out
As mentioned, Google has officially announced the June 2026 software update for eligible Pixel smartphones, and the roll out has already begun from June 16th 2026 onwards. Even the Pixel 6 series devices have also been included in the June 2026 patch update, and several bug fixes for the respective Pixel smartphones are also part of it. I have added the table at the end of the article, where you can check all the bug fixes that are being offered for the eligible devices.
Additionally, it has also been revealed that all eligible devices running on Android 16 will be getting the Android 17 upgrade, and Android 17 and Wear OS 7 are also said to be released this month itself.
Speaking more about this month’s Pixel Drop, Google has also rolled out many new features for eligible Pixel devices including Screen Reactions, Create and Edit Videos with Gemini Omni, Music Generation with Gemini, Bubbles, Edit with Ask Photos expansion to more markets, Voice Translate expansion to Google Pixel 10a, Magic Cue support in more places, Take a Message expansion to more markets with custom greetings, and Loss of Pulse, Car Crash, and Fall Detection integration with Emergency Sharing.
Furthermore, Quick Share now also works with AirDrop on the Pixel 9a and Pixel 8a, while Call Screen has now gone live in India. To note, this month’s Pixel Drop feature update will be valid for users running on Android 17 or above.
