Galaxy S25 series receives first software update in Korea with February 2025 security patch

Last month Samsung officially unveiled its latest Galaxy S25 series in India and global markets and now one month after, the smartphone brand has started rolling out the first software update for this series in Korea.

This latest update is based on One UI 7.0 and comes with firmware versions: S938NKSU1AYB3 (Galaxy S25 Ultra), S936NKSU1AYB3 (Galaxy S25 Plus), and S931NKSU1AYB3 (Galaxy S25).

The above screenshot is for a Galaxy S25 device (via @tarunvats33) which reveals that the update includes a February 2025 security patch that resolves over 50 issues, applies stabilization code for calls and camera actions and applies security-related stabilization code. The size of the update is 585.90MB.

Since the update is already being rolled out in Korea, other regions may receive this update soon.

Steps to install the update-

  • Go to Settings
  • Go to Software update
  • Tap on Download and Install

Samsung has recently unveiled its all-new Galaxy F06 5G smartphone with One UI 7. The newly-released Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra devices will be able to offer 45W fast charging without necessarily needing a 5A cable. Galaxy A26 5G was recently spotted on the FCC and TUV Rheinland database hinting towards its imminent launch.
