Samsung did announce that the Galaxy S25 series will start getting the stable One UI 8 update in the month of September. And now a new tip from tipster Tarun Vats states that the Galaxy S25 might be getting the last of the One UI 7 updates with the September security patch, which is going to be quite big in size, more than 1GB.
He further adds that this is going to be the final update based on One UI 7, and then finally, it will get the One UI 8 update based on Android 16. So my guess would be that by the end of September, Samsung may start rolling out the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 series. And as usual, the beta users will be the ones first getting the stable One UI 8 update.
Other than this, Samsung has officially announced the next Galaxy Event to take place on September 4th, 2025. During this event, it is expected that the Galaxy S25 FE, along with the Galaxy Tab S11 series, will also be launched. Some rumours also point out that both will launch with One UI 8 based on Android 16.
Also, the month of September has just started, and more details will likely come in the coming days.
