Following the earlier rollout for the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad 3, the OxygenOS 16.0.7.200 Update is Now Rolling Out for the OnePlus 13R, While the OnePlus Pad 2 is Receiving the OxygenOS 16.0.5.702 Update

Just recently, OnePlus had announced the rollout of the OxygenOS 16.0.7.200 update for the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad 3 devices, and now the company has announced the same update for the OnePlus 13R handset as well. Adding more to this, the OnePlus Pad 2 is also receiving a new OxygenOS 16.0.5.702 update.

OnePlus 13R and OnePlus Pad 2 Receiving May 2026 Security Patch Update
As per the official announcement page, the OxygenOS 16.0.7.200 update is being rolled out for the OnePlus 13R with the firmware version ‘CPH2691_16.0.7.200(EX01)’ in the Indian region. On the other hand, the OnePlus Pad 2 is receiving the OxygenOS 16.0.5.702 update with the firmware version ‘OPD2403_16.0.5.702(EX01)’.
Currently, both of these updates are being shared only in India and are expected to expand to other global regions as well, although the company has not yet revealed an exact rollout timeline.
While both devices are receiving the May 2026 Android security patch via these updates, the OnePlus 13R is additionally receiving several new features and improvements along with the latest security patch.
Looking at the changelog of the OnePlus 13R, OnePlus has introduced smoother animations under the Luminous Rendering Engine for floating windows, notification drawer interactions, and Quick Settings pull-down animations. The Trinity Engine has also been improved with AI-reconstructed touch recognition in order to reduce scrolling jitter inside applications.
Several AI-based additions are also being introduced through AI Translate, AI-powered Photos, and AI-powered Documents. These include contextual real-time translations, AI-generated summaries, enhanced collage editing options, automatic document saving, improved scanning speeds, handwriting recognition, wrinkle and shadow removal, and Word export support.
The update further brings improvements to Live Space and Flux Home Screen features with smoother animations, notification capsules, layout restoration support, and colour-based app organisation.
Apart from these, the Camera application has also been upgraded with cleaner UI elements and more natural interactions for a smoother shooting experience. Battery statistics are also now more informative with additional hotspot and app-level activity information.
Lastly, the update also integrates the May 2026 Android security patch in order to enhance overall system security.
