With the new upgrades of June 2026, users are said to receive a smarter and more convenient experience with the ColorOS custom skin. The AI Fluid Cloud, Xiaobu Suggestions, Xiaobu Assistant, Gallery, Weather, Calendar, Phone Clone, Game Camera, Live Assistant, Device Space, and more have also been upgraded. Also to note, the update is not only being rolled out to ColorOS 16 users, but also to users who are still using ColorOS 13 based on the Android 13 operating system.
The Lock Screen Island has now been made to support Kugou Music, and full-screen lyrics display has also been added. Additionally, the Xiaobu Suggestions and Fluid Cloud course reminders have also been improved, and course information from the Super Curriculum Schedule app can now be displayed. Class timings, classroom details, and reminders before the class starts or ends are also part of it.
Furthermore, Xiaobu Suggestions now brings a football viewing card, and users will be able to quickly access live matches, schedules, results, and standings. Xiaobu Assistant also gets a match-watching AI agent, and it is said to answer football-related questions more smoothly. Weather warning services, AI briefing cards, Alipay parking service billing changes, and Kugou Music lyrics on Fluid Cloud and Lock Screen Island are also offered as part of the update.
Speaking more, Xiaobu Memory now supports importing images, text, and documents through Content Portal by directly dragging them into memory. Xiaobu Assistant has also been integrated with JD.com, JD Finance, Flight Manager, and China Mobile Migu intelligent services. With this, users will be able to view service cards directly without opening third-party applications.
The travel collection feature in Xiaobu Memory has also been optimized, and travel maps can now generate route plans based on itinerary details. Nearby food options around attractions will also be shown. The circle-selection experience of Xiaobu Assistant has also been improved, and support for adjusting the selection box size and position has been added.
Coming to the communication and connectivity-related upgrades, Device Space now supports adding and managing Feiniu Private Cloud NAS devices. The system Gallery can also connect seamlessly with Feiniu Private Cloud, and users will be able to view photos and videos from the NAS directly in the Gallery. Seamless photo loading, live photo previews, and downloads have also been added.
After connecting a phone with a computer, users will also be able to choose the storage path while transferring files from the computer to the phone. Support for Lynk & Co Bluetooth car keys has also been added. Once added, the phone can automatically unlock the car when nearby and lock it when away.
A new Dragon Boat Festival limited watermark has been added, while on the other hand the AI portrait lighting is also a new upgrade, and after downloading the on-device large model, users will be able to enhance low-light portraits even without an internet connection. The Gallery app also now supports food delivery photo album feature, and it can automatically identify photos taken in food delivery apps and create a dedicated album.
Some pages in Meituan and Douyin now support seamless animations for smoother page transitions. Quick connection support for OPPO Bubble has also been added, making rear-camera selfies easier. After connection, it can also be managed through Device Space.
For audio, system speaker sound effects can now be adjusted through an equalizer, and Pop and Rock options have also been added. Custom frequency adjustment support is also part of it. A new one-tap accessibility permission disable feature has also been added. Apps installed from unofficial sources will now show a pop-up warning when risky operations are triggered.
Speaking more, High-performance Outdoor Mode now supports quick app switching. Game Camera now supports 2K ultra-clear screenshots, while game microphone recording can now record both system audio and team voice at the same time. Live Assistant now adds a floating ball to quickly open the Live Assistant panel. One-tap replay recording animation and optimized screen color adjustment have also been added.
Coming to the Weather app, the homepage now supports showing multi-day weather trends in a line chart. Calendar timetable data can now be synced and backed up to the cloud, and users will also be able to migrate timetable data through Phone Clone. The Calendar app also gets a “Show more festivals” toggle, which displays more festival information when enabled.
Phone Clone now supports moving train trip information from an old phone to a new phone. Gallery browsing after deleting photos has also been optimized, and after deleting a photo, the app will automatically switch to the next nearby photo in the original swipe direction. The app drawer’s Categories view now features an “App suggestions” section, and commonly used apps will also be intelligently recommended.
Calendar events and to-dos now support more custom reminder methods. Phone Manager’s malicious app scanning capability has also been optimized to identify fake apps and apps abusing accessibility permissions more accurately.
