Apple releases iOS 26.5.1 update for iPhone Air and iPhone 17 models; Fixed the charging or turning on issue after the battery is drained to 0%

Recently, Apple released a new iOS 26.5.1 update that fixes a bug affecting iPhone 17 models and the iPhone Air.

This new update fixes a bug where your device was not charging or turning on when the battery was drained to 0%. The size of this update is 15.09 GB, and it is only for the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 models.

The update can be downloaded on eligible iPhones over the air by going to Settings> General> Software update. Eligible users are advised to install the latest update to prevent their devices from being affected by this bug again.

In related news, Apple’s WWDC 2026 event is scheduled for next week (June 8-12), and in this particular event, the brand is expected to unveil iOS 27, macOS 27, iPadOS 27, visionOS 27, tvOS 27 and watchOS 27.
