Android 17 Developer Preview Program now available for the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Leica Leitz Phone powered by Xiaomi, and the Xiaomi 15T Pro
In a new announcement, Xiaomi has announced the Android 17 Developer Preview Program for four of its devices.

Android 17 Developer Preview Program – Now Available for 4 Xiaomi Devices
As mentioned, a total of four devices have been made eligible for the Android 17 Developer Preview Program, and this includes the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Leica Leitz Phone powered by Xiaomi, and the Xiaomi 15T Pro. As the name suggests, this is a developer preview build that is meant for developers to test their applications for the upcoming Android 17 operating system.
About the installation process, interested users will have to flash the preview ROM in order to use this developer preview build. However, it should be noted that the flashing process will wipe all data on the device, and hence it is not advisable for users who are using the above devices as their primary smartphones.
Another prerequisite is that the devices must be running on the required HyperOS versions. The Xiaomi 17 should be updated to OS3.0.301.0.WPCMIXM, while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and the Leica Leitz Phone powered by Xiaomi need to be on OS3.0.9.0.WPAMIXM. The Xiaomi 15T Pro, on the other hand, must be running OS3.0.11.0.WOSMIXM.
Xiaomi has also shared the downloadable ROM files for the Android 17 developer preview build.
