Android 17 Beta 3 Announced for OnePlus 15 and Oppo Find X9 Pro: Check These Known Issues Before Installing
We have already heard reports that Android 17 is likely going to be introduced at the upcoming Google I/O 2026 event that is scheduled to take place between May 19th and May 20th, and several smartphone brands have already started rolling out beta updates for their eligible devices. Earlier, OnePlus and Oppo had introduced the Android 17 Beta 2 update for several of their smartphones under the OxygenOS and ColorOS Developer Preview Programs, including the OnePlus 15 and Oppo Find X9 Pro. Now, according to official announcements, the Android 17 Beta 3 update has been announced for the OnePlus 15 and Oppo Find X9 Pro devices.

Android 17 Beta 3 Update Announced for OnePlus 15 and Oppo Find X9 Pro
This latest Android 17 Beta 3 update is intended for developers who can test their applications ahead of the stable rollout of the Android 17-based OxygenOS 17 and ColorOS 17 updates. Speaking more, there is a high chance that this latest beta update may brick or negatively affect your smartphone, so it is advised not to install this update if you are currently using your device as a primary smartphone.
Furthermore, the announcement page also lists several known issues present in this latest Android 17 Beta 3 update for both the devices. These include Bluetooth-related usage issues, display abnormalities, lagging, third-party application compatibility issues, and certain system applications or settings becoming unusable, unresponsive, malfunctioning, or crashing unexpectedly. Additionally, in the Find X9 Pro’s version, the Camera may display issues in some scenarios.
For this update to work, both OnePlus 15 and Oppo Find X9 Pro should be running 16.0.5.700 / 16.0.5.703 / Android 17 Beta 2 and 16.0.3.504 / 16.0.5.701 / Android 17 Beta 2, respectively.
