Byju’s gross revenue reaches in 100 billion rupees

Tiger Global-backed ed-tech startup Byju reported gross revenue of nearly 100 billion rupees ($1.26 billion) in the fiscal year 2022, after posting revenue of 24.28 billion rupees in the previous year.

Byju’s is an Indian multinational educational technology company founded in 2011 by Byju Raveendran and Divya Gokulnath.

Byju Ravindran is the name of the person who started this company as his own dream. Son of physics and mathematics teachers and a former teacher who turned into an entrepreneur started this company in normal setup as a helping hand.

An engineering graduate, he started teaching math to friends (and whoever else wanted to learn) after spending a couple of years, he set up the idea of ” Think & Learn” which offers online lessons. During the pandemic time, Byju’s became the household name.
