Oppo will skip Watch 4 series thus launching Watch 5 series revealed tipster

A significant amount of time has passed since Oppo launched its Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro in August 2022 in China. It seems Oppo has started working on its successor with the Watch 5 name. Recently a Weibo post posted by the Digital Chat Station named Tipster revealed that Oppo may skip the Watch 4 after Watch 3.

Yes you read it right and it’s possible explanation can be 4 number’s bad luck notion in China and in some other Asian countries. This same thing happened in the past when we revealed exclusively that the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro will be launched.  The tipster has revealed some of the key specs that the series can bring and its launch information.

Expected Features

Tipster revealed that Oppo Watch 5 is codenamed “Comet” and will come with a square display with curved edges. It will be powered by a 570 mAh massive battery with support for eSIM connectivity. As far as its color option is concerned it will come in white and black carbon fiber shades.

Tipster has not specified whether it’s about the Pro model or Watch 5 but we saw a 400 mAh battery in Watch 3 and a 550 mAh battery with Watch 3 Pro so it won’t be wrong to say that the tipster is talking about the Watch 5 Pro with 570 mAh battery.

The further tipster mentioned that this smartwatch series will go official alongside the Oppo Find N3 foldable phone. This smartphone is likely to launch in the market in the third quarter of this year as revealed by the tipster.
