Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi MIX Flip Q1 launch timeframe tipped, MIX Fold 4 coming by mid-2024
Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro in October 2023, which was a couple of weeks ahead of expected time as the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro were announced in December 2022. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is ideally expected to debut in Q2 2024 as the 13 Ultra was unveiled in April 2022. However, recent reports have claimed that the 14 Ultra will also launch earlier than expected. A Weibo post by a reliable Chinese leaker, Experience More, has revealed the launch timeframe for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and MIX Flip, which will be Xiaomi’s first flips-style foldable phone.
According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and MIX Flip are scheduled to launch in the first quarter of this year. It can be said based on other reports that the two devices may break cover in March in the Chinese market. There is no information about the launch timeframes for the global launch of these devices.
Reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is codenamed Aurora. The leaker claimed that another Xiaomi flagship, codenamed Aurora Pro, and the MIX Fold 4 will debut by mid-2024.
As per a recent report by GSMChina, the Aurora Pro is an under-display camera version of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The publication also claimed that the Xiaomi Suiren device, which was recently spotted on Geekbench, is the Aurora Pro device. The Geekbench listing revealed that it has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 16 GB of RAM, and Android 14.
